Our newest collection, Fall + Winter 2012 has a decidely eclectic feel. Inspired by the lush history the silk road, we chose fabrics that have a decidedly travel-inclined feel and a worldly look. We named them accordingly, borrowing famous destinations from along the pathway of goods, spices, textiles, gems etc.

For textile and history buffs, the Silk Road has always encapsulated the beginning of globalization and a clear example of inspiration and cultural exchange. Being travel inclined ourselves, and wanting to always be open to all the inspiration and lessons the diverse world has to offer, we feel a sort of fascination when we imagine and think back to the Silk Road. Since we’re not sure when we will be able to make the pilgrimage and take Trans-Siberian along the path that camels once traveled, this will satisfy us for now!
